Chlamydia (kla-mid-ee-a) is the most common sexually transmitted infection in the UK with research showing that 1 in 10 people have it without even knowing. Chlamydia is often called The Silent Infection because sometimes there are no signs or symptoms. You don’t need to have had lots of sexual partners to be at risk, once is all it takes. If you’re 24 and under and have had sex, you can easily get access to testing in a range of places across Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire that are convenient to you – the SIMPLE urine test and any treatment you might need is FREE.
